When it came time to cast the part of Derek we wanted the most popular reoccurring star of the Jerry Springer show, the always inebriated infamous Reverend Schnoor. Problem was, no one could locate him, but eventually, we found him performing his sermons in the Barracuda Room at the Hotel Hello (sheets changed weekly) in Booring, TN. He agreed to join Parker Players Theater Company providing before introducing himself he was allowed to give one of his sermons.
