Parker Players Playwrights Lab is an intimate workshop series at Parker Players Theater Company led by acclaimed playwright Stephanie Alison Walker, designed for adult writers ready to deepen their craft. Through focused, hands-on sessions, participants will explore the art of dramatic storytelling—from shaping compelling characters and structure to refining dialogue and discovering their unique voice.

Stephanie Alison Walker is an award-winning playwright with an upcoming world premiere at Steppenwolf known for her complex characters in her work. Participants in this inaugural workshop will benefit from Stephanie's expertise and will walk away with stronger characters in their arsenal. No cardboard villains here. No vanilla heroes. We're bringing nuance back! This is a hands-on, interactive writing workshop that will include exercises, time to write, and sharing of work.
Note: Workshop is playwriting focused, but fiction writers are also welcome and will benefit.
*There will be a one-hour lunch break. Attendees should bring their own lunch.
