Step Back Into the Golden Age of Radio This Holiday Season
Parker Players Theater Company invites audiences to celebrate the season with A Live Old Time Holiday Radio Show, a nostalgic theatrical experience inspired by the beloved holiday radio broadcasts of the 1940s.
Directed by Julie Price, the production will transform the theater into a vintage radio studio complete with live Foley sound effects, period-inspired design, old-fashioned microphones, and the warmth and charm of a live studio broadcast. Audiences will experience the magic of classic holiday storytelling brought to life before their eyes.
“There’s something incredibly joyful about revisiting the spirit of these old-time broadcasts,” said Director Julie Price. “They capture humor, warmth, nostalgia, and a sense of togetherness that feels especially meaningful during the holidays.”
